طُوّر هذا التطبيق في الأصل كمدخل لمسابقة "تطبيقات الجيش" CIO/G6 لعام ٢٠١٠، وهو مبني على وحدات متاحة للعامة عبر الإنترنت من معهد لغات الدفاع الأمريكي. مع أن موضوع هذا التطبيق يتعلق بشكل رئيسي بالمواضيع العسكرية، إلا أن التطبيق مفيد بشكل عام بفضل محتواه المتعلق بمجموعة من المواضيع.
